Should I buff my nails after I painted them?

I don't know what the sequence is..should I buff first before painting, or buff after painting?

Would buffing ruin the polish, and how long should i wait before I buff?

Thanks!Should I buff my nails after I painted them?
no only use a top coat on your nails to make them shineShould I buff my nails after I painted them?
no buff before only, apply clear coat to add shine
dont do that.

its not necissary.

you woundnt buffer plastic.

it wont work.

just put a top coat on it.

that will be fine.
Buff first because you could ruin your paint on your nails if you do it after.
I'm not a pro, but I'm sure you should buff before you paint!
Actually, if your nails are painted you shouldn't buff them. You are just rubbing off tiny layers of your polish. And you shouldn't buff them before you polish because polish has a hard time clinging to a smooth surface. In fact, it helps to slightly roughen the surface of the nails before you polish them.

If you are going to buff, you should not wear polish, and don't buff more than once a week or so. Buffing thins the nails by, again, removing tiny layers of your nail's surface.
Buff and shape nails first, then wash your hands. Use a cuticle softener and nail protector lotion and then wipe hands on towel to remove access moisture. Then you can polish--base coat, polish (2 coats), and top coat.
Honestly I wouldn't because that would take the nail polish off. If anything do it befoore you paint your nails that way they don'y come off and look bad.
nonono!!!!!!! by filing or buffing your nails while they're polished, your nails get weaker and can break more easily. heres how to have a perfect manicure at home

1- wash your hands with herbal soap

2- rub them with moisturizer

3- file your nails. DO NOT file back and forth. file the edges and the tips in an oval shape.

4- buff your nails.

5- put a drop of cuticle oil on your cuticle and leave it for about two minutes (for all nails, not two mins. per nail)

6- paint a base coat onto your nail and let it dry. this will make sure that the polish doesnt stain your nail. (paint a long streak in the middle of the nail, then the left, then the right.)let dry.

7- paint your nails the color of your choice using the same technique that you used for the base coat.let dry.

8- do a second coat. let dry.

9- paint a clear top coat and let dry.

10- enjoy your manicure!

and you never buff AFTER painting. if you want the paint to be shiny, just use a top coat. and yes, buffing would ruin the polish.
Well, you buff you nails.

Then file them if you want

then put on a base coat

and let it dry

then, paint your nails whatever color you want (with nailpolish)

let it dry

and out on a top coat to seal the color!
Buff your nails before you paint them...you can wait three days for the polish to dry and you will still ruin the polish.
You buff before you put on the polish. It helps the nailpolish stay on longer and if you did it after then you would just ruin the wonderful nails you just painted.
file, buff, wash hands, dry then paint ;)
DO NOT BUFF THEM YET YOUR NAILS WILL BE RUINED
